Profile on Gemma Hinton Teacher and Founder of Dance In Motion
I started dancing nineteen years ago and have gained many different qualifications in a range of dance styles including Street Dance, Hip Hop, Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Freestyle Disco and Cheerleading. I have gained my associate qualification with the International Dance Teachers Association (A.I.D.T.A). I'm a member of the I.S.T.D, R.A.D and i am a qualified level 3 UKCA cheerleading coach covering Pom Dance, Cheer Dance and Cheerleading. Also i am a level 4 qualified cheerleading coach with the BCA and gained my masters certificate in july 09.Recently I have qualified as a ZUMBA instructor and really enjoy teaching this new programme. I have performed in many shows in the local area both amateur and professional. At 'Dance in Motion' I coach and perform with the 'Dance in Motion Cheerleaders'. This team perform at every home match for the Worcester Warriors Rugby team. Providing pre-match and half time entertainment.
I attained a BSc (Hons) in Sports Studies and Physical Education which I completed at the University of Worcester focusing mainly on Dance and Gymnastics. During this time I founded the University of Worcester Dance Society and was Chairperson for three years. This allowed me to teach a range of dance styles to students on a regular basis and help improve individual dance techniques and increase participation in dance.
Currently I teach dance workshops and sessions in local primary and secondary schools inclding BTEC Dance Level 2 and 3, GCSE DANCE and A-Level Dance. I also coach lucnhtime and after school clubs in street dance and cheerleading on a regular basis. Below are some of the schools I have delivered dance sessions at this year:

Dance in Motion - Teacher
Gemma has been working for the company scince December 2008 helping teach and deliver various dance lessons. Gemma has many dance qualifications in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Modern. Gemma has performed in many local shows and dance festivals. Currently Gemma is a member of the 'Cheerleaders Elite Squad' which perform at every Worcester Warriors home match.
Jade Hinton
Dance in Motion - Teacher
Jade participated in a range of formal dance training and gained many dance qualifications. Jade is a Level 2 cheerleading coach with the UKCA and is currently studying towards teaching qualifications in other forms of dance. Over the years Jade has been a member of the Midland Musical Theatre Company allowing her to perform on a regular basis at local venues. Currently Jade is also a member of the 'Cheerleaders Elite Squad' which perform at all the Worcester Warriors home matches. Jade started working for 'Dance in Motion' in Sept'09 and continues to play a major role. Recently Jade has been coaching some after school clubs and delivering dance/cheerleading in local primary and secondary schools. Jade continues to assist and teach lessons at the Dance in Motion Studios.
