Jazz classes in Malvern
Dynamic movement, strong lines and stage presence.
Modern jazz is fun. Dancers develop a broad vocabulary of movement across varying rhythms and musical styles, learning to demonstrate emotion through the interpretation of any musical genre.
Classes are structured to build the physical strength and flexibility that strong jazz demands, alongside the stage presence that lights up performances. Jazz dancers at the academy regularly perform in school shows and compete across the UK, with graded exam pathways available.
What to expect
- Strength, flexibility and technique built into every class
- Musical interpretation across contrasting rhythms and styles
- Modern/Jazz examination pathways with UCAS points at vocational grades
- Competition and performance teams, including adult Ignite teams
Examination pathways at the academy include IDTA, RAD, ISTD, NATD, Acrobatic Arts, BBO, TDSC. UCAS points are awarded for vocational grades. Read about dance exams.
