Street / Hip Hop classes in Malvern
Groove, freestyle and current commercial flavour.
Street dance is improvisational and social in nature: it encourages interaction and celebrates individuality. Dancers learn the hip-hop foundations of b-boying and the funk styles of popping and locking, alongside routines set to the latest tracks.
Commercial dance is included within our Senior Street / Hip Hop classes: a strong, current style with elements of street and jazz, danced to the latest pop, R'n'B and chart music, the style you see on music videos. Street Dance examinations are available, and seniors train across ability levels through the week.

Examination pathways at the academy include IDTA, RAD, ISTD, NATD, Acrobatic Arts, BBO, TDSC. UCAS points are awarded for vocational grades. Read about dance exams.
