Lyrical blends the line and control of ballet with the expressive quality of jazz and contemporary. Movement flows through and beyond the music, and every routine tells a story.
It is a favourite style for dancers who love connecting movement to music and feeling, and a signature of the academy's senior competition work, seen on stages from Malvern to international events.

Examination pathways at the academy include IDTA, RAD, ISTD, NATD, Acrobatic Arts, BBO, TDSC. UCAS points are awarded for vocational grades. Read about dance exams.
