Lead, inspire, move the future. Two recognised teaching pathways at Dance in Motion Academy: Motion Leaders for students aged 13yrs+, and Motion Pro for anyone ready to train as a dance teacher.

Motion Leaders
Lead, inspire, move the future
Our Motion Leaders programme allows students to gain recognised teaching assistant qualifications in a range of dance genres from ages 13yrs+. The programme covers the practical and theoretical elements that underpin a teaching assistant's role, including dance pedagogy, safe and effective dance training, with an emphasis on health and safety, safeguarding and student wellbeing.
- Bronze, Silver and Gold leadership levels
- Leading to a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Opportunities for students to support weekly classes, holiday camps, workshops, shows and so much more
- Progress onto Level 4 teaching qualifications in multiple styles
Friday, 6.30-8.30pm, Studio 1 (every 3 weeks)

Motion Pro
Teaching beyond movement
Our Motion Pro programme is open to all. We offer professional tuition in many Level 3 and Level 4 teaching qualifications. Would you like to take your dance training to the next level? Do you enjoy teaching? Would you like to become a fully qualified dance teacher?
Qualification pathways
- IDTA Level 3 and 4 (Ballet, Tap, Contemporary Modern Jazz)
- NATD Level 3 and 4 (Gymnastic Dance, Contemporary, Modern Jazz)
- IDTA Diploma (Musical Theatre, Street Dance, Cheerleading, Dance Exercise)
Candidates are required to hold an intermediate qualification in the genre they are specialising in. This can be gained whilst studying the Level 3 and 4 pathways.
Private tuition can also be provided for teaching qualifications, arranged around your timetable and other commitments.
