Sing, dance and act with show-stopping confidence.
Musical theatre brings singing, dancing and acting together in one class. Students build character work, storytelling and all-round stagecraft: the triple-threat skills that West End and touring productions are built on.
Performance is at the heart of the programme: bi-annual school shows, Sparkle Theatre Company musicals, themed camps and IDTA Musical Theatre examinations all give students a stage to shine on. Drama and acting exam options are available too.

Examination pathways at the academy include IDTA, RAD, ISTD, NATD, Acrobatic Arts, BBO, TDSC. UCAS points are awarded for vocational grades. Read about dance exams.

Sparkle Theatre Company
Would you like to join our theatre company?
Sparkle Theatre Company is the academy's dedicated musical theatre company. Juniors, Inters and Seniors rehearse on Friday evenings and stage a full musical each year, building singing, dancing and acting together. If your dancer loves performing, we would love to welcome them.
Fridays: Juniors 5.30–7.00pm · Inters/Seniors 6.00–7.30pm
